Despacio is an authentic Artisanal Mezcal hand-distilled in the state of Oaxaca. They use underground wood-fired pits, horse-pulled tahonas (stone-wheel mills), fermentation in wooden tanks and small-batch distillation in copper alembics method. With culture and sustainability at the forefront, they work to boost the local economy, care for the land and honor the Mexican tradition of Artisanal Mezcal. The Despacio mission is to produce 100% Agave Mezcal using the ancient Artisanal method in order to offer an exquisite drink, able to satisfy the most discerning palates. The Despacio vision is to be a leader in the Mezcal industry in both the National and International market.
